This page outlines the process of configuring and using the Zoom API through Zilla to sync groups, roles, settings, and users.
To create Zilla integration with Zoom, login to Zoom and navigate to my account. In the left hand side bar expand the Advanced Tab and click on App Marketplace.
Click Develop in top right corner and select Build App. You will be directed to choose an app type. Click Create under OAuth.
Create the App as Shown below:
Name “Zilla Connector”
Choose App Type of “Account-level app”
Unselect the option to publish the app
The App’s homepage will load.
Now configure the Redirect URL:
For Product use: https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/zoom
For Develop use: https://dev.zsec.io/api/auth/callback/zoom
For Local use: http://localhost:4200/api/auth/callback/zoom
Under Whitelist URL add the following:
Now click Continue and fill out the Information Page. Enter the information:
Short and Long Description - simple description will due
Category - Security and Compliance
Company Name - Zilla Security
Developer Contact information
Name - your name
Email Address - your email
Skip Feature and go to the Scopes tab. Click “+ Add Scopes”, then search and add the following:
account:read:admin
contact:read:admin
group:read:admin
role:read:admin
user:read:admin
To complete the App, click Continue and an Activation page will load and click Install.
Click on Install and an Authorization page will load (for the first time when application is installed) and click Authorize.
You can exit out of the redirect page, which will display after you click authorize which will look like this:
Note: If user comes back later on this activation page and clicks on install, it will redirect user to the page which will look like below. User can just ignore/close it since the authorization is already done.
Now to configure the app in Zilla, add Zoom as an application and click the settings bar in the top right corner.
Now go back to the Zoom “Zilla Connector” app and copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
Then paste each into the Sync Configuration on the Zilla Site.
Then Click Update, and you can now sync.
*Note* If your zoom account is not paid, then the sync will fail to sync groups.
