Overview

This document provides instructions on how to use Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) to import data (accounts, integrations and settings) from this application into your instance of Zilla.

In this guide, you will:

  1. Launch your application from inside Zilla

  2. Activate the ZUS browser extension while logged into your application as an admin

  3. Send your data securely to Zilla.

Step-by-Step Instructions

 Note: Since we are only sync admin users, by default every user will have admin permission attached to that account in Zilla.

  • Login to Zilla using your admin credentials.

  • Click Add Application in the top right.

  • A window with a search bar appears, type in Active Admin in the search bar. Active Admin application entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  • Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications button.

  • Navigate to your Active Admin application instance in your library. Click Sync now in the top right.

  • This popup should appear, click the slider below Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) to enable it. Fill in the admin_users URL for Active Admin.

  • Click Sync Now.

  • This popup will appear, read the instructions and then click Launch Active Admin.

  • After clicking Launch Active Admin you may be redirected to login page if you are not logged in, otherwise you will be redirected to consent page.

  • If you are not redirected to Users page navigate to Users page.

  • Before proceeding make sure you have selected max size of page.

  • Click the browser extension icon located in the upper right of the window, and click Send to synchronize Users.

  • A preview dialog will appear. Review the list and click Send.

  • On Zilla, click Done.

  • Click Close.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
