Obtaining the required configs from Code42

1. Code42 account's API Domain → The domain you use to log in to the Code42 console (i.e. api.us.code42.com).

2. Client ID & Client Secret → To obtain the required credentials:

   1. Sign in to the Code42 console.

   2. Select Administration > Integrations > API Clients.

   3. Click Create new API client.

   4. Enter a name and description.

   5. In API permissions, enable the User’s read permission.

   6. Click Save. It will show the Client ID & Client Secret, save it for a future step.

Setup Code42 Application Integration on Zilla

1. Visit Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

   

2. A window with a search bar appears, type in Code42 in the search bar and hit enter. Code42 app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications to the right.

   

3. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

   

4. The Code42 app will be added to the Applications tab, click on it.

   

5. A detailed view of Code42 application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

   

6. Enable API Integration. Enter the Code42 account's API Domain obtained in an earlier step as well as Client ID and Client Secret of the admin account in the respective boxes and click Next.

   

7. Click Next and the sync will start.
