Add a custom Application to Zilla and sync users from CSV

  • It is very straightforward to add your Custom Application into Zilla. On Applications page, click Add Application button on top right.

  • When an application is not present in the Zilla Library, you choose “Custom Application”. Go to Custom Application tab, enter a Name for the Custom Application and optionally include a description and specify the Business Owner and Technical Owner These values can be edited later. Click Add to Applications button.

  • A success toast notification will appear to mention the application was successfully created and you will land on the below Application details page in Profile tab. Other tabs will also be visible.

 

  • Click on Sync now on top right.

 

  • The below popup will appear, enable the toggle of “Accounts & Permissions CSV File Upload”, as we will be uploading our User and Permissions data from CSV file. Click on Next.

 

  • You are then presented with a window to browse to your CSV file for you application. Zilla provides a sample CSV file for you to review and in our example we will import the sample file.

 

  • Download the sample file by clicking on hyperlink Download sample file → Click Browse → Select the downloaded file from your system → Click “Upload”

 

  • After uploading the CSV file Zilla brings up a CSV configuration column mapping tool which helps you map the columns of your CSV to the appropriate fields. Depending on your CSV file you can select the column heading (For example “Account Id”) and choose the column heading from your CSV file that corresponds.

 

  • If necessary choose Show Advanced Options to map your CSV data appropriately in Zilla. Click Hide Advanced Options, if nothing additional.

 

  • When you click Next, it will bring you to a "Review Permissions Upload" page where you can look to make sure things look correct.

 

  • Click Import in Review Permissions Upload modal.

 

  • Click Import on the center popup to import the data successfully to Zilla.

 

  • Click on Latest sync, it will show Sync Summary. Then click Close.

 

  • Go to Accounts tab of your custom application, the accounts data appears.
