Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

 

  1. Login to Salesloft with your admin credentials.

  2. Create an Oauth App via https://accounts.salesloft.com/oauth/applications.

  3. Click Create New.

     

     

  4. On the application page fill in the Name, for example Zilla Connector for the application and add the Redirect URI for Zilla: https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/salesloft. Click Submit.

     

     

  5. You will be redirected to your application page. Save the Application Id (aka Client ID) and Secret (aka Client Secret) for a later step.

     

     

  6. Visit Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click on Add Application in the top right.

     

     

  7. A window with a search bar appears, type in Salesloft in the search bar. Salesloft app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

     

     

  8. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click on Add to Applications button.

     

     

  9. Click the Salesloft app which was added to the Applications tab.

     

     

  10. A detailed view of Salesloft application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

     

     

  11. Enable API Integration option from the dialog.

     

     

  12. Add the configuration details saved above: Client ID and Client Secret noted in step 5, then click Next.

     

     

  13. Click Next.

     

     

  14. After successful sync, click Close.

     

     

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
