Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

 

Steps To Create a Zoho OAuth App

  1. Open Zoho API Console. Click on GET STARTED button.

  2. Select Server-based Applications option.

  3. Enter Client Name, for example Zilla Connector, Homepage URL: https://app.zillasecurity.com/ and Authorized Redirect URIs: https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/zoho and click CREATE.

  4. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret which will be used in a future step.

Setup Zoho CRM Application Integration on Zilla

  1. Visit Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

     

  2. A window with a search bar appears, type in Zoho CRM in the search bar. Zoho CRM app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications to the right.

     

  3. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

     

  4. The Zoho CRM app will be added to Applications, click on it.

     

  5. A detailed view of Zoho CRM application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

     

  6. Enable API Integration. Find the Client ID and Secret you obtained in a step above and enter them into the Client ID and Client Secret boxes, respectively. Go to your Zoho Accounts, copy the Zoho domain from there and paste in the Zoho Account Url box (do not include / at the end, e.g. https://accounts.zoho.com).

     

  7. Click Next. Click Accept on the consent screen to start the sync.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
