Generate API credentials in Veracode

  1. Sign in to the Veracode platform.

  2. From the user account dropdown menu, select API Credentials.

  3. Click Generate API Credentials.

  4. Copy the API KEY ID and API KEY SECRET to a secure place. Veracode recommends storing your credentials in an API credential file.

Note: You can only see these credentials this one time. You have the choice of putting them in a credentials file. When you leave this page you cannot review your current credentials. The creation of new credentials revokes any old credentials after 24 hours. The credentials expire in one calendar year.

Setup Veracode Application API Integration on Zilla

  1. Visit the Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click on Add Application in the top right.

  1. A window with a search bar appears, type in Veracode in the search bar and hit enter. Veracode app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

 

  1. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

 

  1. The Veracode app will be added to the Applications tab. Click on Veracode in Application column.

 

  1. A detailed view of Veracode application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

 

  1. Enable API Integration. Enter the API KEY ID and API KEY SECRET obtained above into the respective text boxes and click Sync Now/Next.

  2. Click Next and the sync will begin, then click Done.

 

  1. Successful sync will pop up with Sync Summary.
