This page outlines the process of configuring and using the Box API through Zilla to sync permissions, groups, and users.To sync data we recommend using the API method. However, you may also sync data with our Browser Extension, follow instructions here: Box - Browser Extension
Steps To Create a Box Connector
1. Locate and click the Dev Console button at the bottom right of the page. If the Dev Console button is hidden in the UI, navigate to https://{{Box Tenant Id}}.app.box.com/developers/console

2. Click Create New App.

3. Click Custom App.

7. Locate your OAuth 2.0 Credentials and save them. In the next step, these credentials will be used to connect to Box from Zilla. Copy the Client ID and Secret for later use.

Navigate to Apps, then select Custom Apps Manager, and hit Add App

Insert the Client ID from Step 7, and select Next:

Enable the app:

This completes our setup in Box. Next, navigate to app.zillasecurity.com, and login as a Technical Owner for Box or an Admin.
