Overview

This document provides instructions on how to use Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) to import data (accounts, integrations and settings) from this application into your instance of Zilla.

In this guide, you will:

  1. Launch your application from inside Zilla

  2. Activate the ZUS browser extension while logged into your application as an admin

  3. Send your data securely to Zilla.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Login to Bitwarden with your admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to the organization for which you want to sync data in Zilla.

  3. Click Manage tab.

  4. Click People on the left.

  5. Copy the URL from the address bar and save it for use in a later step.

  6. Login to Zilla with admin credentials.

  7. Click Add Application button in the top right corner.

  8. A window with a search bar appears, type in Bitwarden in the search bar. Bitwarden application entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  9. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications button.

  10. Click the Bitwarden application instance which was added to the Applications tab section.

  11. A detailed view of Bitwarden application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  12. Enable Browser Extension option from the dialog. Enter the URL that was saved in Step 5. For example: https://vault.bitwarden.com/#/organizations/<orgId>/manage/people.

  13. Click Next.

  14. Click Launch Bitwarden.

  15. You will be redirected to Bitwarden login page, login with your admin credentials.

  16. Click on Zilla’s Browser extension in the top right corner of the browser.

  17. A popup will appear, click Visit page which will navigate to the organization’s People page.

  18. Again, click on Zilla’s Browser extension in the top right corner of the browser.

  19. Click Send.

  20. Go back to Zilla dashboard and Click Done.

  21. Click Close.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
