Overview

This document provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from this application into your instance of Zilla.

In this guide, you will:

  1. Launch your application from inside Zilla

  2. Set up an API configuration

  3. Send your data securely to Zilla

Step-by-Step Instructions

This page describes the steps required to sync Aha! account data with Zilla using an API integration. To sync security settings, use the Browser Extension integration: AHA Security Settings - Browser Extension.

Getting the Api Key and Domain

  1. Login as an Admin/Owner on Aha! via https://secure.aha.io/session/new.

  2. Make sure that you have owner access to all the workspaces in Aha! . This will ensure that you see the data of all your workspaces in ZIlla.

  3. Copy domain from address bar of the home page of Aha! for use in a later step.

  4. Generate your own Api Key via https://secure.aha.io/settings/api_keys or goto Settings>Personal>Developer>API keys>Generate API key.

  5. Give your API key a name, for example ZillaConnector.

  6. You will be redirected to API keys page, copy and save the API key for use in a later step.

Set up Aha! Application Integration on Zilla

  1. Login to Zilla application using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

     

     

  2. A window with a search bar appears, type in aha in the search bar. Aha! application entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  3. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications button.

  4. Click the Aha! application which was added to the Applications tab section.

  5. A detailed view of Aha! application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  6. Enable API Integration option from the dialog and fill in the Domain and Aha API key saved from steps 2 and 5 above, respectively. Click Next.

  7. Click Next again.

  8. Click Done.

  9. Click Close.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
