Overview

This document provides instructions on how to use Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) to import data (accounts, integrations and settings) from this application into your instance of Zilla.

In this guide, you will:

  1. Launch your application from inside Zilla

  2. Activate the ZUS browser extension while logged into your application as an admin

  3. Send your data securely to Zilla.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Login to Zilla with Admin credentials.

  2. Click Add Application in the top right corner.

  3. A window with a search bar appears, type Grafana in the search bar. Grafana application entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  4. Fill in the form with appropriate details and click Add to Applications button.

  5. Click the Grafana app which was added to the Applications tab, a detailed view of Grafana application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  6. Enable Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) option from the dialog and provide both the Grafana Users and Teams page URLs.

  7. Click Sync Now/Next.

  8. Read the instructions and click Launch Grafana.

  9. Login to Grafana if you are not already logged in. You will be redirected to Grafana Users page.

  10. Click the browser extension icon located in the upper right of the window, and click Send to synchronize Users.

  11. A preview dialog will appear. Review the list and click Send.

  12. Click the browser extension icon located in the upper right of the window, and click Visit page to go to Grafana Teams page.

  13. In Grafana, click on a team to see users inside the team and click the browser extension icon located in the upper right of the window, and click Send to synchronize the team and its members.

  14. Repeat step 13 to sync all teams and their members.

  15. On Zilla, click Done and then Close.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
