Overview

This document provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from this application into your instance of Zilla.

In this guide, you will:

  1. Launch your application from inside Zilla

  2. Set up an API configuration

  3. Send your data securely to Zilla

Step-by-Step Instructions

You must be the Zoom Account Owner to configure the OAuth app in Zoom.

To create Zilla integration with Zoom, login to Zoom and navigate to Profile. In the left hand side bar expand the Advanced tab under ADMIN and click on App Marketplace.

Click Develop in top right corner and select Build App. You will be directed to choose an app type. Click Create under OAuth.

Give your app a name and click Create.

The app’s homepage will load. Make sure you copy the Account ID, Client ID, and the Client Secret.

Click Continue and complete the Information Page. Fill in the following fields in Basic information:

  • Fill in Short Description field

  • Company Name - Zilla Security

  • Developer Contact information

    • Name - your name

    • Email Address - your email

Click on Continue till you reach the “Scopes“ page. Click on Add Scopes.

In Scopes form. Click "+ Add Scopes", then search and add the following:

  • group:read:list_members:admin

  • user:read:list_users:admin

  • user:read:user:admin

  • group:read:list_groups:admin

  • account:read:settings:admin

Click Done.

Note: DO NOT add Contact Group Scope.

Click Done. Your scopes should now look like this:

To complete the App, click Continue and an Activation page will load, click Authorize your app.

Now to configure the app in Zilla, add Zoom as an application and click Sync now at the top right.

Now go back to the Zoom “Zilla Connector” app and copy the Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret.

Then paste each into the Sync Configuration of Zoom instance in Zilla, click Next/Sync Now, and you can now sync.

*Note* If your zoom account is not paid, then the sync will fail to sync groups.

Click Next and then Done and check the sync summary.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
