Overview

This article provides instructions on how to use Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) to import data (accounts, integrations and settings) from this application into your instance of Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, activate the ZUS browser extension while logged into your application as an admin, and send your data securely to Zilla.

Don’t have the ZUS Browser Extension? Download and install here.

Note: You must be using an admin account for this to work.

Note: 1Password logs users out frequently; when visiting a new page during the following process, you may be returned to the login screen and have to login again. This is normal.

Step 1. Navigate to your 1Password instance in your library. Click Sync now. This pop-up should appear, click on the slider below Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) to enable it. Sign in to 1Password on your browser, then copy and paste the URL for your 1Password home page into the text field in the Zilla pop-up shown below. Then click Next (or Update).

Step 4. Sync Group Roles

  1. Open the Zilla browser extension and click Visit page for Group Roles (2 of 2).

  2. Select the first group in your list to show all users in that group.

  3. Open the Zilla browser extension and click Send.

  4. If you have more than one group, select the Groups page once more, and repeat this process for each group you wish to sync.

Step 5. Your Zilla Browser extension should look similar to the example below. Only after you have finished syncing all of your users and groups, return to Zilla.

Step 6: Go to Zilla, click Done, then check the sync summary and click Close.
