Overview
This document provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from this application into your instance of Zilla.
In this guide, you will:
Launch your application from inside Zilla
Set up an API configuration
Send your data securely to Zilla
Step-by-Step Instructions
Getting the Api Key and Domain
Visit your profile on Freshdesk via https://freshdesk.com/
Copy domain from address bar of the home page of Freshdesk for a later step.
Click on the avatar section on the top right corner of the page and then click
Profile settings
.You will be redirected to settings page. Save the API Key, which you will find in Your API Key section, for a later step.
Login to Zilla application using your admin credentials and then click
Add Application
in the top right.A window with a search bar appears, type in Freshdesk in the search bar. Freshdesk application entry will appear at the top of the list, click
Add to Applications
button to the right.Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click
Add to Applications
button.Click the Freshdesk application which was added to the Applications tab section.
A detailed view of Freshdesk application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.
Enable API Integration option from the dialog.
Add the configuration details saved above: API Key and Domain noted in steps 4 and 2 respectively, then click
Next

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
