Getting the API Key and Domain

  1. Visit your profile on Freshdesk via Freshdesk: Smart, Scalable Ticketing Solution | Freshworks

  2. Copy domain from address bar of the home page of Freshdesk for a later step without the https:// part.

  1. Click on the avatar section on the top right corner of the page and then click Profile settings.

  1. You will be redirected to My Profile Settings page. Copy and save the API Key, which you will find in Your API Key section on the right, for a later step.

Setup Freshdesk Application Integration on Zilla

  1. Login to Zilla application using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

  1. A window with a search bar appears, type in freshdesk in the search bar. Freshdesk application entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

3. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications button

  1. A detailed view of Freshdesk application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  1. Enable API Integration option from the dialog.

  1. Add the configuration details saved above: API Key and Domain noted in steps 4 and 2 of “Getting the API Key and Domain“ respectively, then click Next/Sync Now.

  2. Click Next again.
