This page outlines the process of configuring and using the Zendesk API through Zilla to sync permissions, groups, and users.
Steps To Create a Zendesk Connector
1. Log in to Zendesk and copy the URL for a later step. Then locate the gear labeled Admin found on the left side of the home screen.
2. Scroll down until you see API then click it.
3. Click on the OAuth Clients tab then click Add OAuth client.
4. Fill in the fields on this page. In the 'Redirect URLs' box paste: https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/zendesk.
5. Click Save. Next store the Secret and the ‘Unique identifier’ from Zendesk in a safe place (we will use these back on the Zilla site).
Set up Zendesk Application Integration on Zilla
1. Locate your desired Zendesk application instance on Zilla, click Sync now and enable API Integration. Copy the URL saved above into the ‘Zendesk Domain’ field on Zilla Security (do not include 'https' ex: example.zendesk.com). Find the Secret and ‘Unique identifier’ you obtained in the last step and enter them into the ‘Client Secret’ and ‘Client ID’ boxes, respectively. Then click Update or Next.
2. Click Next. If asked, you must log in to Zendesk and grant access to Zilla.
4. Your sync will start.
5. You may now view the synced data on Zilla.
