Zendesk
This page outlines the process of configuring and using the Zendesk API through Zilla to sync permissions, groups, and users.
Steps To Create a Zendesk Connector
1. Log in to Zendesk and copy the URL for a later step. Then locate the gear labeled Admin found on the left side of the home screen.
2. Select Go to Admin Center.
3. Click on the Apps and integrations tab then click Zendesk API under APIs, then pivot to OAuth Clients tab and select Add OAuth client
.
4. Fill in the fields on this page. In the Unique identifier field, paste zilla_connector and in the Redirect URLs box paste: https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/zendesk. Click Save
.
5. Next, store the Secret and the Unique identifier from Zendesk in a safe place (we will use these back on the Zilla site).
Zendesk changed oauth client setup and force public
type of client to use PKCE challenge. At the moment, this API integration does not support PKCE challenge, change the configuration from Public (default) to Confidential before moving to next step.
