ZUS Browser Extension - Integration Builder

If there are no existing recipes to extract data from a given web application, now you can build your own, using our Integration Builder. Currently, this works for user data--user names, email addresses and roles/permissions.

Using Integration Builder - When Email Address exists in the web page to be sent to Zilla

  • Add a custom application in Zilla, go the Application Details pages, click “Sync now” on top right corner. The below pop-up shouenable Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) toggle and then click on Next.

  • The below pop-up will appear. Click Next.

  • Do NOT click on Done yet.

  • Go to the web page where data exists to send to Zilla, click on the ZUS Browser Extension icon and then click on Launch Builder.

 

  • A sidebar should open up to the side of the web page you’re viewing. You can use the right arrow icon or left arrow icon at the upper right of the sidebar to move the sidebar to the right or left side of the page as desired. To close the sidebar, you can click on the cross icon.

 

  • You’re selecting user data, starting with email addresses. Hover the mouse over an email address on the page, and press 'S'--it should become highlighted. Do this to a second email address, and the extension should be able to highlight all the email addresses on the page in red, with the surrounding user records outlined in blue:

  • Click Next on the Sidebar for “Email Address” step and you can do the same thing for Name --press 'S' over one of them to highlight it, then do the same for a second one to get them all, then click Next for "Name" step in the Sidebar.

 

  • Now, if there’s information about user roles/permissions, you can do the same for them, then click Next for the Roles & Permissions step in the Sidebar.

 

  • When you’ve finished (or skipped) all those steps, click ‘Preview’ and review the information you’ve collected, and click on Send.

  • Go back to Zilla and click Done and check out the sync summary, click Close.

 

Using Integration Builder - When no Email Address exists in the web page to be sent to Zilla

  • When Email Address does not exist, click on “No emails on this page? Click here.” on the Sidebar and go ahead with Unique Account ID.

  • Hover over the column which is a unique identifier for a user and press 'S' over one of them to highlight it, then do the same for a second one to get them all, then click Next for "Unique Account ID" step in the Sidebar.
