Overview

Zilla Security integrates with your Slack workspace to send Access Request notifications directly to your Slack users. When enabled, the following (email and slack) notifications will be sent to users:

• Review campaign is launched

• Review reminders

• Review Get Ready task is assigned

• Review item is reassigned

• Review task is reopened

• Review is completed

Installation

1. Login as an administrator of your Zilla instance

2. Under Settings expand a new configuration card “Configure Slack Notifications”

   1. Click on “Configure” to setup a connection between your Zilla instance and your Slack workspace. Note: This will redirect you to add the Zilla Security notification app to your workspace

3. In your Slack workspace administration screen, you will need to review the requested permissions for the app, for example:

4. For enterprise installations, please add the app to the workspaces of the account (can either select all or the workspace that has all the users that need to receive notifications).

5. Once the app is installed, the connection status will be shown on the settings page of your Zilla instance:

Remove Connection

By removing the Zilla Security notification app from your Slack workspace, Access Review notifications will no longer be sent to your Slack users (email notifications will continue).

1. Login as an administrator of your Zilla instance

2. Under Settings expand a new configuration card “Configure Slack Notifications”

   1. Click on “Delete Configuration” to remove the connection between your Zilla instance and your Slack workspace. Note: This will redirect you to your Slack workspace

   2. Click on “Remove App” and confirm the removal action

   3. For enterprise installations, in the enterprise account panel, click on the “Manage” dropdown button and select the option to uninstall.
