On-Premise Active Directory: PO Box

Prerequisite:

PO Box is a service is deployed on a VM in any cloud platform or on premise datacenter. Contact Zilla Customer Support to PO Box.

OR

PO Box is a service is deployed in your AWS account. Contact Zilla Customer Support to set up ZUS in the Cloud in your AWS account.

Setup On-Premise AD Application Integration on Zilla

  • Visit the Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

     

  • A window with a search bar appears, type in on premise ad in the search bar and hit enter. On Premise AD app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  • Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

     

  • You will have the On Premise AD app added into applications tab and a detailed view of On Premise AD application appears. Click gear icon in top right corner. Integration configuration pop up will appear.

     

  • Enable the Zilla Universal Sync (ZUS) and fill in the config details.
    Server URI: It is the LDAP URI of the AD server. For example ldap://10.0.1.4 .
    Search Base: Example dc=zsec,dc=io .
    Login User and Login Password of the AD user.
    All the 4 configuration can be kept blank here and Provided in the ZINC local configuration.

     

  • Click Next and the sync will begin.

     

  • Note: If the employee ID is stored in an attribute other than “employeeID”, please work with customer support for the custom attribute configuration.

The App Configurations can be overridden by ZUS In the Cloud local files and AWS secrets manager if configured. Refer to Overriding the App Configurations for ZUS In the Cloud
