Astronomer
Overview
This document provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from this application into your instance of Zilla.
In this guide, you will:
Launch your application from inside Zilla
Set up an API configuration
Send your data securely to Zilla
Step-by-Step Instructions
Obtaining the required configs from Astronomer
Login to Astronomer Account: Go to the Astronomer website and log in to your account.
Access Organization Settings: After logging in, navigate to the organization settings by clicking on the company name. This should lead you to a page where you can manage various settings related to your organization.
Retrieve Organization ID: On the organization settings page, you should be able to find the organization ID. It might be displayed somewhere on this page. Copy this ID as you'll need it for the next step.
Retrieve API Token:
Go to the home page and navigate toAccess Management
.Go to
API Tokens
tab and then click onOrganization API Token
on the right side.Provide a name, description, select an organization role, set expiration, and click on
Create API Token
.Now that you have the organization ID and API token, you can proceed to Zilla and follow the below steps.
Setup Astronomer Application Integration on Zilla
Visit Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click
Add Application
in the top right.
A window with a search bar appears, type in Astronomer in the search bar and hit enter. Astronomer app entry will appear at the top of the list, click
Add to Applications
to the right.
Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click
Add to Applications
.The
Astronomer
app will be added to the Applications tab section, click on it.
A detailed view of
Astronomer
application appears. ClickSync now
in top right corner.
Enable API Integration. Enter the Organization Id and API token obtained in earlier steps in the respective boxes and click
Sync Now
.Click
Next
and the sync will start.
Click on
Done
.
Sync summary will pop-up, check and then click
Close
.
When you have finished with all the steps above, return to Zilla and review the information that was synced.
