Workato API Integration
Overview
This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.
Generate Workato API token
Login to Workato Workspace with username and password. Navigate to
Workspace admin->API clients.Click
Create API client.
Fill in
Name,Client role,Project accessand clickCreate client.
Copy API token and save for use in a future step, it will not be visible again.
Note: Do not click Done until the token has been stored in a secure place.
Setup Workato Application API Integration on Zilla
Visit the Zilla application login using your admin credentials and then click on
Add Applicationin the top right.
A window with a search bar appears, type in
workatoin the search bar and hit enter.Workatoapp entry will appear at the top of the list, clickAdd to Applicationsbutton to the right.
Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click
Add to Applications.
The
Workatoapp will be added to the Applications tab. Click onWorkatoin the Application column.
A detailed view of
Workatoapplication appears. ClickSync nowin top right corner.
Enable API Integration. Enter the
Workato Domain (e. g. 'www.workato.com'),Workato API tokenobtained above into the respective text boxes and clickSync Now/Next.
Click
Nextand the sync will begin, then clickDone.
Successful sync will pop up with Sync Summary. Click
Close.
When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
