Workato API Integration

Generate Workato API token

  1. Login to Workato Workspace with username and password. Navigate to Workspace admin -> API clients.

  2. Click Create API client.

  1. Fill in Name, Client role, Project access and click Create client.

  1. Copy API token and save for use in a future step, it will not be visible again.

Note: Do not click Done until the token has been stored in a secure place.

Setup Workato Application API Integration on Zilla

  1. Visit the Zilla application login using your admin credentials and then click on Add Application in the top right.

  1. A window with a search bar appears, type in workato in the search bar and hit enter. Workato app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  1. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

  1. The Workato app will be added to the Applications tab. Click on Workato in the Application column.

  1. A detailed view of Workato application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  1. Enable API Integration. Enter the Workato Domain (e. g. 'www.workato.com'), Workato API token obtained above into the respective text boxes and click Sync Now/Next.

  1. Click Next and the sync will begin, then click Done.

  1. Successful sync will pop up with Sync Summary. Click Close.
