Sentry

Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

Get the API Auth Token:

Visit the Sentry account.
Click Settings in the left sidebar.
Click Auth Tokens option.
Click Create New Token in top right corner.
Select scopes as team:read and org:read and click Create Token in the bottom right corner.
Copy the AUTH TOKEN and save it for a later step.

Get the Organization Slug:

Click Organization settings in the top left corner.
Copy the Organization Slug and save it for a later step.

Set up Sentry Application Integration on Zilla:

Visit Zilla application and login using admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.
A window with a search bar appears, type in Sentry in the search bar. Sentry app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.
Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications button.
You will see the Sentry app added to the applications tab, click on it.
A detailed view of Sentry application appears. Click Sync now link in the top right corner.
Enable API Integration option from the dialog.
Add the configuration details saved above: Auth Token and Organization Slug, then click Update.
Click Next.
Click Done. Sentry sync has completed message displayed.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
