Steps to Create a Smartsheet Connector

  1. Log in to Smartsheet with your developer account.

  2. Click the "Account" button in the bottom-left corner of your Smartsheet screen, and then click Developer Tools….

     

     

  3. Click Create New App.

     

     

  4. In the Create New App form, provide the following information:

    • App name: the name to identify your app

    • App description: a brief description intended for the user

    • App URL: https://app.zillasecurity.com

    • App contact/support: support information for the user

    • App redirect URL: https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/smartsheet

       

  5. Click Save.

  6. Copy the client id and secret for future use. Click Close.

     

    You can always look them up again in Developer Tools. Click view/edit.

     

     

Steps to setup Smartsheet application instance in Zilla

  1. Login to Zilla using your admin credentials.

     

     

  2. Click Add Application in the top right.

     

     

  3. A window with a search bar appears, type in Smartsheet in the search bar. Smartsheet application entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

     

     

  4. Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications button.

     

     

  5. A detailed view of Smartsheet application appears. Click Sync now or the gear icon in top right corner to configure your application.

     

     

  6. Enable API Integration option from the dialog.

     

     

  7. Add the configuration details from an earlier step and then click Sync Now.

     

     

    1. Client Id - OAuth application Client Id for the connector that you have created in Smartsheet.

    2. Client Secret - OAuth application Client Secret for the connector that you created in Smartsheet.

  8. Click Next.

     

  9. After clicking Next you may be redirected to login page if you are not logged in, otherwise you will be redirected to the consent page. Click Allow on the consent page and you will then be redirected back to Zilla.

     

  10. Click Done.

     

     

  11. Click Close.
