Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

Obtaining API Information

  1. Log in to your UKGPro account and navigate to System Configuration → Security → Service Account Administration.

  1. Copy the Customer API Key and save the value for a later step.

  1. On the UKGPro Service Account Administration Page, click add in the upper right corner of the page.

  1. If you have an existing service account, you can enter your existing credentials. Alternately, you can create a new service account.

  1. Scroll down under Web Services to enable permissions. Enable the View role for the Personnel Integration.

  2. Click Save. Your new password will pop up. Save the password in a secure location.

  3. Next, get the REST Endpoint. Search for Web Services, look at any of the web service endpoint URLs, and copy the URL until /services. Your end result should look like http://Servicet.ultipro.com.

Set Up the Integration in Zilla

  1. Add the desired application to Zilla. For instructions on this process, see Adding Applications to Zilla.

  2. Click Sync now in the top right corner on the application instance page for UKGPro.

  1. Toggle to enable the API Integration and fill in the configuration details collected from the earlier steps. Click Next.

  1. Click Next to begin the sync.

 

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
