Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

Obtaining the required configs from Marketo

The Client ID and Client Secret are found in the Admin > Integration > LaunchPoint menu by selecting the custom service, and clicking View Details.

2. The Identity URL and Endpoint URL can be found in the Admin > Integration > Web Services menu in the REST API section.

Setup Marketo Application Integration on Zilla

Visit Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.
A window with a search bar appears, type in Marketo in the search bar and hit enter. Marketo app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications to the right.
Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.
The Marketo app will be added to the Applications tab section, click on it.
A detailed view of Marketo application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.
Enable API Integration. Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, Identity URL and Endpoint URL obtained in earlier steps in the respective boxes and click Next.

Note: User Management API endpoints are not prefixed with “/rest” like other endpoints. For the “Endpoint URL” field, exclude the “/rest” from the configuration. Reference to this page for more details.

Click Next and the sync will start.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
