Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

 

Steps to get Required API Config Values

  • Sign into your Qualys account.

NOTE: The URL can be different depending on your account’s Platform URL

  • Navigate to the User Profile Page.

  • Copy the value of User Login for future use.

  • We also need the Platform URL of your Qualys Account. You can find this in your Sign Up email you might have received from Qualys:

NOTE: You always log into your Platform URL for Qualys, hence you can also find it on your browser. For

Setup Qualys Application Integration on Zilla

  • Visit the Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

  • A window with a search bar appears, type in Qualys in the search bar and hit enter. Qualys app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  • Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

  • A detailed view of Qualys application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  • Enable API Integration and fill in the mandatory fields. Click Next/Sync Now.

  • Click Next and the sync will begin.

  • In the next window that pops-up, click Done.

  • Sync summary window should show up, check the summary and click Close.

 

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
