Overview

This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla. You will launch your application from Zilla, set up an API configuration, and send your data securely to Zilla.

 

Steps to get required configs

  • To create an API key, you'll need to first navigate to your Namely HRIS site and click on the API menu item

  • After clicking on API, you'll see a tab for Personal Access Tokens. Create an access token and save it for a later step.

Setup Namely Application Integration on Zilla

  • Visit the Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click Add Application in the top right.

     

  • A window with a search bar appears, type in Namely in the search bar and hit enter. Namely app entry will appear at the top of the list, click Add to Applications button to the right.

  • Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click Add to Applications.

  • A detailed view of Namely application appears. Click Sync now in top right corner.

  • Enable API Integration and fill in the API key and domain of your namely account collected from the earlier steps. Click Next.

  • Click Next and the sync will begin.

When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
