Overview
This article provides instructions on how to connect to an API to import data from your application into Zilla.
Steps to get Required API Config Values
Start by registering your application, by signing in to the RingCentral Developer Console with your account login and password. If you do not have RingCentral account, please sign up.
After you login you will be taken to the Apps Console where all of your apps are listed and can be managed. Click the "Create App" button found in the upper-right hand corner on the "Apps" tab. Choose the App type as “REST API App“. You can refer this link to register : HOW TO REGISTER YOUR APP?
Tell about your Application
Setup Authentication
Choose the 3-legged OAuth flow authorization code.
OAuth Redirect URI should be :
https://app.zillasecurity.com/api/auth/callback/ringCentralOrg
Issue refresh tokens? : Select the
Yes
checkbox.
Configure your app's security settings
For Application Scopes select “ReadAccounts“
You may choose the rest of the options at your discretion.
Enable App Features
Depending upon your application type, different app features will be made available to your application.
Integrated Installation
Obtaining your app's credentials
Upon clicking the "Create" button and successfully registering your application, your app will be provisioned app credentials in the form of a Client ID and Client Secret.
Setup RingCentral Application Integration on Zilla
Visit the Zilla application and login using your admin credentials and then click
Add Application
in the top right.
A window with a search bar appears, type in
RingCentral
in the search bar and hit enter. Two apps will appear chooseRingCentral
, clickAdd to Applications
button to the right.
Fill in the form with appropriate details and then click
Add to Applications
.
A detailed view of

application appears. ClickSync now
in top right corner.
Enable API Integration and fill in the mandatory fields. Click
Next/Sync Now

Click
Next
and you will be redirected to a login page.
When you have finished with all the steps above, review the information in Zilla that was synced.
